Los Feliz

While most of us imagine all of the elite living in Bel Air and the Hollywood Hills, on the other side of Hollywood lies Los Feliz, a highly coveted neighborhood for celebrities and industry creatives.

Los Feliz has deep roots in the entertainment industry. In fact, the original Disney studios, where Mickey Mouse and Snow White came to life, were located here. Prospect Studios, where Barney Miller, The Dating Game, and Welcome Back, Kotter were filmed, is still in Los Feliz and now home to Grey’s Anatomy and General Hospital.

This relaxed, hillside enclave on the southern slopes of Griffith Park is bursting with incredible cafes, restaurants, vintage shops, a vintage movie theatre, old LA architecture (like the DeMille estate, now owned by Angelina Jolie), and all the yoga and pilates classes you could possibly take.

With its Mediterranean climate, industry connections, and easy access to surrounding neighborhoods and Griffith Park, and you can have a production meeting in the morning and go for a horseback ride in the afternoon. Los Feliz has it all.
