Playa del Rey

Playa del Rey, also known as the "Beach of the King" is a beachside neighborhood on the Westside of Los Angeles. Sandwiched between Marina del Rey to the north, and LAX to the south, Playa del Rey is considered one of the more quaint beachside communities in Los Angeles.

While there has been recent commercial, mixed-use, and single family residential developments in the area, Playa del Rey still preserves its charming neighborhood appeal. Adjacent to the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve, this community is home to many native birds and wildlife found nowhere else is Los Angeles. Playa del Rey is a hidden gem within the Los Angeles beach communities.
