Much like many of the beachside communities in Los Angeles, Playa del Rey is very pedestrian and bike friendly. Park your car on Friday after work, and forget about it. Aside from the beach, Playa del Rey offers the beautiful Ballona Wetlands, which boast a wide variety of wildlife.
