The Community

With a population of just over 70,000, people from all walks of life love the peaceful Redondo Beach community, whether they are young families, urban professionals, yoga instructors, surfers, or retirees relaxing in their ocean view homes.

The city is divided into two distinct areas. South Redondo lies along the beachfront and features the pier and marina complex and small business district. North Redondo is a mostly residential area situated just inland of Hermosa and Manhattan Beaches, with notable attractions like the South Bay Galleria and the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.

Both areas feature fantastic restaurants, great indie coffee shops, and fun activities like concerts in the park, movies on the beach, and two weekly farmers markets that bring the community together.

The Redondo Beach School District is known for its deeply dedicated teachers, a wide variety of sports teams, and student clubs that prepare students for success. In fact, Charles Lindbergh is an alumnus of the local high school!
