When you’re on a deadline and need some energy, head to a vinyl booth at old school Mel’s Drive-In, where you can crank out that script 24 hours a day. There’s nothing more relaxing than closing out an evening at an upscale hotel bar, though, and you never know who you’ll run into at the Mondrian, Sunset Marquis, or the infamous Chateau Marmont.
