West Hollywood is characterized by a community that takes a lot of pride their neighborhood, and it sure does show. Every weekend, you can take a stroll through the neighborhoods and see families playing the public parks. There is never a lack of patrons at the hot spots on West Hollywood's famous Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood is also its own independent city, and is run very efficiently by city officials. The West Hollywood community benefits from being adjacent to the slightly more prestigious Beverly Hills, but without the stuffiness. WeHo likes to have fun, and cultivates a tremendous friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
