Not only is Ripon, California renowned as the Almond Capital of the World, but it’s also been rated the #1 place to raise a family in the Modesto area!

Located just over an hour from San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Yosemite Valley, this quaint city of 15,777 residents has a charming, small town feel with easy access to the amenities of the nearby cities of Modesto and Stockton.

Originally known as Stanislaus City, Ripon was renamed after Ripon, Wisconsin, the birthplace of one of its early residents. If you’re looking for a safe, friendly, tightly knit community with great schools, family-owned businesses, and where neighbors quickly become friends, Ripon may be the perfect fit for you.
