Grant Law Joins as Director of Growth as the Law Team Partners with Craft & Bauer | Real Broker
Craft & Bauer was built on a simple idea: agents shouldn’t have to choose between doing meaningful work and building real wealth. The right team makes both possible at the same time - through leverage, structure, and people who genuinely raise the standard around you. Today we get to welcome two of those people.
Today we're announcing that Laura Law and Grant Law - co-founders of Laura + Grant Real Estate, formerly the top-producing team at The Agency Pasadena - have officially partnered with Craft & Bauer | Real Broker. Laura joins as a Senior Partner. Grant takes on a new role as our Director of Growth, leading the build-out of our team across Southern California, Northern California, the Coachella Valley, and Arizona.
We're on a clear path to 100 teammates. Grant is the operator we want at the front of that next chapter.
Why this matters
Most brokerages grow by accident. The ones that compound do it on purpose - with the right people, the right systems, and a real point of view about what agents need to actually build wealth, not just chase the next closing.
That's exactly the lens Grant brings. He built and ran a residential brokerage that scaled past 125 agents. He spent four years coaching producers across the country to break through $500K in annual GCI. And alongside Laura, he co-founded a team that landed in the Top 1.5% of Realtors nationwide for five consecutive years.
He understands what makes a real estate business work from every angle - compliance, recruiting, production culture, agent development, transaction structure. That's rare. Pairing it with our model at Craft & Bauer is the unlock we've been working toward.
“Grant is an exceptional leader. He thinks like an operator, leads like a coach, and treats every agent’s career like a long-term wealth strategy. That’s exactly what Craft & Bauer is built for, and it’s exactly the standard we want as we grow toward 100 teammates.”
The Laura factor
Make no mistake - Laura is half of this story, and arguably the half that walks through the door first.
Laura brings nearly a decade of helping Southern California families buy, sell, and invest in the homes that shape their lives. She closed 10 transactions in her first year - right after having her second daughter - and has built her business almost entirely on referrals. She came into real estate from 13 years as a senior buyer for Guess, Oakley, and Bebe, which means she markets and positions homes with a designer's eye and a buyer's instinct.
She also brings something the modern brokerage desperately needs: a real social media and video voice. Not the templated stuff. The kind that actually connects.
“Joining Craft & Bauer felt like coming home before we even got here. The people, the standards, the way they think about an agent’s whole business — it’s everything we wanted to build the rest of our careers around.”
“I’ve spent 20 years in this business as a broker, an operator, and a coach. What I kept looking for was a place where the systems matched the ambition and the leadership actually understood what agents need. That’s Craft & Bauer. The chance to lead growth here, alongside Dom, Max, and Shana, is the role I’ve been building toward.”
What this means for our team
For the agents already on our roster: you now have a Director of Growth whose entire professional life has been about helping producers break through. Grant's coaching practice was built around one mission - getting agents past $500K in GCI and into real wealth-building - and that lens is now pointed directly at our team.
For the agents thinking about a move: the conversation just got more interesting. We've already built the infrastructure - a 10% team split, a $4K cap, a tiered partnership track, mentorship for newer producers, and a production-minded engine running on a weekly cadence. Grant takes that engine and puts an operator at the wheel.
“We’ve spent the last 15 months since partnering with Real putting the bones in place - comp structure, mentorship, recruiting systems, the war room. Bringing Grant in as Director of Growth is what turns all of that into a real recruiting and development machine. He’s going to make every agent here better, and he’s going to help us find a lot more of them.”
“What I love about Laura and Grant is that they don’t just talk about culture - they actually build it. You can feel it in five minutes with them. That’s the kind of partnership that compounds.”
Beyond the business
A few things worth knowing about the people, not just the résumé:
Laura serves on the board of Foothill Family. Grant serves on the boards of Foothill Family and Jericho Road Pasadena - both organizations doing the kind of long-arc community work that mirrors how he thinks about everything else: lasting impact comes from building the right infrastructure, not from showing up when it's convenient.
Off the clock, you'll find Laura on the golf course or in the gym. Grant on the golf course, in the Muay Thai gym, hitting a CrossFit workout, behind a grill, or opening something exceptional from his wine cellar. There's a pattern here, and we like it.
What's next
Laura is taking on listings and buyers immediately and helping lead recruiting alongside Grant. Grant is rolling straight into our weekly growth cadence with the leadership team and beginning to meet with agents about what the next chapter of their careers can actually look like.
If you're an agent who's outgrown your current setup and you're ready to think about leverage, income architecture, and what you're building toward five years from now - that conversation now starts with Grant.
