Lindsay Kinkele
Estate Agent
Lindsay Kinkele is an Estate Agent with Craft & Bauer | Real Broker. A writer, storyteller, and longtime creative, Lindsay has built a career shaped by curiosity, reinvention, and a deep love of place. She moved to the Coachella Valley in 2013 and has spent the years since playing tourist in her own backyard, exploring the restaurants, hotels, boutiques, historic sites, and hidden gems that give this desert its character. That curiosity eventually became Everything Palm Springs, the local website and free weekly newsletter she founded to celebrate the people, places, history, and everyday magic of Greater Palm Springs. Today she brings that same blend of local insight, storytelling, and genuine enthusiasm to every client she serves.
Before real estate, Lindsay built a media career from the ground up. What started as a filming locations blog, complete with a website, daily posts, and an engaged social following, helped her develop her voice and her brand, build a loyal readership, and ultimately launch a long-term career in media. She was invited to write a regular column for Los Angeles magazine, which opened the door to bylines with outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Dirt.com, and Discover Los Angeles. A UC San Diego graduate with a degree in theatre, she pursued acting in Los Angeles before turning her creative energy toward writing, and she carries that storyteller's instinct into how she markets homes and connects with the community she now serves.
Lindsay's approach to clients is relationship-first, never transaction-first. She takes a hands-on, personal approach, working with many longtime friends and people she has connected with through her website and her local community involvement. To her, real estate is about trust, connection, and truly understanding what someone wants their life in the desert to look like. Her goal is to build lasting relationships and to be someone her clients can turn to long after the deal has closed. That commitment to community runs deep through her membership in Leadership Coachella Valley, which has strengthened her connection to the desert she loves and her dedication to serving it well.
Outside of work, Lindsay is happiest exploring the Valley in search of its best coffee shops, sandwiches, and chicken strips, often with shopping bags in hand from favorites like Kaylie Nicole, Mimi & Rae, Songbird & Sage, and Roam.e. She walks three to five miles most days, usually with a true crime podcast in her ears, and she and her husband are devoted to a long list of TV shows. She is drawn to design that feels glamorous and luxe yet warm and a little whimsical, admiring local talents like Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Christopher Kennedy. Two causes are especially close to her heart: addiction recovery, inspired by her uncle's lifelong journey and her fundraising work for ABC Recovery Center in Indio, and animal rescue, a natural fit for a lifelong animal lover and proud mom to three rescue kitties.
